Kevin is a fully Chartered Town Planner and currently works in the Infrastructure Planning team at WSP in Birmingham. He is WSP ambassador to Loughborough University where he provides practitioners advice on the course content of their new Urban Planning degree and regularly guest lectures at the School of Architecture, Building and Civil Engineering.

Kevin is keen to promote the value of infrastructure in urbanism. He has a professional interest in transport interchanges, levelling up and place-making approaches to infrastructure delivery.

I was inspired to join the Young Urbanists following attendance at the annual AoU Congress in Eindhoven back in 2019. For me, urbanism means learning about what makes a great place work for the benefit and enjoyment of all. It involves learning in a fun environment, alongside other fellow urbanists who share the same interests and vision. It is the lost art of urbanism that fascinates me the most - learning from Europe and looking at ways of applying good urbanism to a local context elsewhere, particularly left behind places.
