Sebastian is an American urban planner based in London, working at the intersection of strategic planning, spatial analysis, and placemaking.
He studied Environmental Design at the University of Colorado Boulder, with minors in political science and real estate business, before earning his M.S. in Urban Planning from Columbia University.
Sebastian is currently an Urban Planner at Foster + Partners, where his work focuses on using spatial analysis and strategic planning to shape large-scale, people-centred urban projects. Previously, he worked for New York City’s Department of Transportation in the Public Space Unit, where he helped manage the Open Streets Program and deliver street improvement projects. He has also worked in Buro Happold’s Cities consulting practice in New York, contributing to projects ranging from climate action planning to transport strategy.
Sebastian has been a member of the Young Urbanists since 2023 and an AICP Candidate since 2025.
