18 - 22 March 2024 is 'Shortlisting Week'. Virtual afternoon sessions will run each day (timings depend on the number of nominations received), focusing on one of five categories and its nominees. Academicians and Young Urbanists are invited to register for these sessions to join in the discussion and decision-making process that will create our 2024 Urbanism Awards finalists.

Find all shortlisting sessions here.

How does it work?

The goal of this session is to reach a shortlist of three Great Neighbourhood finalists, based on nominations collected from our membership and wider audience through this online form.

Approximately two weeks before the session, you will be sent a list of all of this year's Great Neighbourhood nominations so that you have time to familiarise yourself with the nominees ahead of the meeting. If you sign up after Friday 8 March, these materials will be sent with your booking confirmation email.

This session will be held on Zoom.

Who can join?

This session is open to Academicians and Young Urbanists. We really encourage all to get involved, to contribute a range of perspectives and ideas to the discussion.

To enable fair discussion, you will not be able to join a shortlisting session for a category you have made a nomination in.

To sign up, log-in to your Member account and book the appropriate free ticket below. Please note that this only signs you up for Great Neighbourhood shortlisting, and you should register individually for other sessions here.

A list of nominees will be sent via email, along with other helpful documents, a minimum of 1 week before the session takes place.
