I have worked with Cambridge BID since its launch in 2013 and in City Centre Management in Cambridge for over 15 years. Having lived in Cambridge for over 30 years I am delighted to work on a daily basis with so many of the people and businesses that make Cambridge such a unique and special place. My work at Cambridge BID has evolved over the last 10 years and recently I was asked to take the lead on delivering our visitor strategy under the Visit Cambridge brand. My work focuses on curating a narrative for Cambridge that encourages visitors to see us as an overnight destination, highlights the breadth of our offer and invites them to stay longer. Working with a range of key stakeholders we are developing projects that enhance the visitor experience before and during their stay and in everything we do we remain committed to the Cambridge BID vision of creating a world-class experience for all who visit, live and work in Cambridge, a global city.

Helen will be speaking as a panelist in the Partnership & Innovation in Practice: Cambridge Lessons session on Thursday 22 June.
