Ben is Divisional Director of Development & Regeneration at Glasgow City Council. Part of the wider Neighbourhoods Regeneration and Sustainability Directorate, Ben leads a group of services covering Planning, Housing, Building Standards and City Centre Regeneration in Scotland’s biggest city.

Ben’s background includes leading city plan and policy work in Edinburgh for many years, and planning, transport and housing strategy teams in Perth & Kinross.

Ben is a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute and a member of the Academy of Urbanism.
