In September 2021, we asked 'What Does a Feminist City Look Like?'. We have used this event as a catalyst for our Feminist Urbanism event series. During the year 2022, we will be exploring a range of topics related to Feminist Urbanism.

Next up, we hand over to you!

Have you produced research related to Feminist Urbanism at university, in practice or as a side hustle? We want to hear from you! We are offering you the opportunity to present your research to the Young Urbanist Network. We need you to email a 200-word abstract setting out your research by 22 May.

This event will be held online over Zoom on Wednesday, 22 June 2022, at 18:00, hosted by event series curators Charlotte Morphet (Young Urbanist Steering Committee and Leeds Beckett University Lecturer) and Kirsty Watt (Young Urbanist Member and Her Collective Founder). We would encourage participants to use the Petcha Kutcha style presentation to keep it short, sharp, and succinct and allow many people to participate. However, it is not mandatory.

If we receive a large volume of abstracts for the EXPO, we will offer more opportunities later in the year.

We look forward to seeing you then, in the meantime, if you have any queries, please relay them to our Young Urbanist Coordinator Roshni at [email protected]
