A cycle tour along London's Cycleway 27, formerly known as Quietway 2. This tour will be particularly interesting to anyone curious about sustainable and active travel, the public realm, and climate change adaptability through street design.

We will start in Waltham Forest with what started as the 'Mini Holland' scheme, before moving back to the origins of LTNs in de Beauvoir, Hackney. We will then move to Islington to discover LTNs that were delivered during the Covid-19 crisis.

We will specify the exact meeting spot ahead of the tour. The tour will start at 2pm and is expected to finish at 4:30pm in Islington at a local pub (TBC)

Please note that you will need to bring your own cycle. The ride will be slow paced and in a relaxed, low traffic environment. You can hire a Santander cycle or any other available cycles such as Lime or Jump.
