About the tour

Follow the River Avon and canal from Newbridge park in the west of Bath to Bathampton Meadows in the East, taking in green spaces along the route.

The Bath River Line team invites you to walk the 10 km route with them! Put your walking boots on, pack a picnic and join us for all or part of the journey. Along the way we will spot wildlife and enjoy the beauty of the River and its setting. Please bring appropriate footwear, all weather clothing including hat and sunscreen, plenty of water and a packed lunch. We will be returning by bus to Bath Bus Station, so please also bring money or a bank card to cover the fare.
