If you’d like a break from work and to meet some friendly AoU faces, join us for an AoU Coffee Break. These sessions are hosted and organised by a group of Young Urbanists in Scotland, and are open to all. If you have never been to an AoU event before, or are thinking about joining the AoU, you are welcome to come along and join the discussion. For this session we will be joined by Gemma Lawrence of Creative Carbon Scotland.

Gemma is the culture/SHIFT Manager at Creative Carbon Scotland, supporting collaborations between artists and sustainability practitioners to address the climate emergency. In this session she’ll share examples of the creative and innovative ways in which artists have been embedded within urban sustainability initiatives and some of the challenges and benefits involved in this approach to cross-sector collaboration.
