Job opportunity: Regions and Nations Network Coordinator (part time – 3 days per week)

We are pleased to announce an opportunity to join the AoU staff team. Read on for further details, and please apply, or share this post with others you feel may be interested.

The Academy of Urbanism is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to join our team and be part of our mission to understand, promote and celebrate what makes great places.

The role will support the management and development of our Regions and Nations Network. The network is a key component of how we engage with our members across the UK and Ireland – from supporting members to run local events to helping grow our membership.

We are open to flexible working, and we aim to respond to applicants’ interests, strengths and experience to create the ideal ‘fit’.

The salary band for this role is between £25,000 – £27,000 pro rata.

Ideally, candidates must have experience with membership-based organisations, have some project management experience, along with good administrative skills. Candidates should also be able to work as part of a small team and, due to the current circumstances, on their own.

The Academy of Urbanism is based in Clerkenwell, London EC1, however the AoU team is currently working remotely. The successful applicant will also be able to work remotely, however occasional travel to our offices will be required (if and when safe to do so).

The Academy is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. View our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy.

If you are successful, an October start date is preferred.
